Community Housing Development Organization
Townspeople acquires, rehabs, and develops affordable housing in San Diego County. Parts of the demolition and rehab portions are completed by some of the residents hired to learn new skills and add to their income low-income workers.
Townspeople owns and operates 3 buildings with a total of 66 units. | Housing Information and Referral Program
Townspeople's Housing Information, Resource & Referral Program is a great place to find a home. Our resources include affordable housing waiting lists, info about eligibility for various programs and subsidies and so much more. In fact, this entire website is part of this program!
One of the things we like to do is help you find an affordable home. We know the challenges and we also know the resources. Let us help you create your own housing plan and get you on the path to sustainability. Click here and we will help you Find A Home. |
Housing & Assistance for people living with HIV/AIDS
A key part of Townspeople's mission is to provide affordable and supportive housing for people living with HIV/AIDS. We opened San Diego's first AIDS-focused housing and we continue to have this as our priority.
| Volunteer & Intern Program
Townspeople partners with Volunteer Match as well as local sources to match willing volunteers with valuable opportunities to make life better for others.
