Those living with HIV/AIDS may find resources through HOPWA Programs: Please contact provider for eligibility requirements and restrictions.

Emergency Housing:

Townspeople (619) 295-8802 Provides 120 emergency beds in the form of hotel / motel vouchers for up to 30 nights for homeless people with HIV/AIDS.

Also, we offer emergency hotel/motel vouchers to the homeless (not contingent on HIV/AIDS diagnosis). Due to funding we are only able to offer it periodically throughout the year.

Licensed Residential Care Home:

Fraternity House, Inc. – (760) 736-0292 Provides 18 beds through Fraternity House (8) and Michaelle House (10) for consumers who need 24-hour comprehensive care.

Transitional Group Homes:

St. Vincent de Paul Village, Inc. – (619) 667-2610 Provides 38 beds for consumers who are ambulatory, self-sufficient and recovering substance abusers.

Permanent Housing:

  • Marisol Apartments – Community Housing Works (760) 432-6878, ext. 5506 10 units in Oceanside for consumers and their families. Support services are provided
  • Old Grove Apartments – Community Housing Works (760) 432-6878, ext. 5506 chworks.org 4 units in Oceanside for consumers and their families. Support services are provided.
  • Mariposa Apartments(760) 744-3758 2 units in San Marcos for consumers and their families
  • Mercy Gardens(619) 255-8891 23 units in Hillcrest for consumers and their families
  • Paseo del Oro Apartments(760) 471-4867 5 units in San Marcos for consumers and their families
  • Shadow Hill Apartments(619) 449-9091 5 units in Santee for consumers and their families
  • Sierra Vista Apartments(760) 471-1776 5 units in San Marcos for consumers and their families
  • La Posada Apartments – South Bay Community Services (619) 420-3620 12 units in San Ysidro for consumers and their families. Case management and support services are provided.
  • Sonoma Court Apartments(760) 745-9314 2 units in Escondido for consumer and their families
  • Spring Valley Apartments(619) 741-1032 9 units in Spring Valley for consumers and their families
  • Sunburst Apartments – The Center (619) 255-7854, ext. 103 3 units for consumers who are between 18 -24 years of age
  • CAP – Community Assistance Program – Townspeople – Limited housing vouchers with supportive care assistance.
